Course Description
SFT 310 is a highly technical course that focuses on Linux advanced storage and security administration. The course provides an indepth knowledge of highly available CIFS(Common Internet File System) and NFS(Network File System) using Clustered Trivial DataBase(CTDB), unified file and object storage, georeplication, Linux security policies, SELinux, securing Linux Network services, Directory services and Authentication and a lot more. The course structure is designed to provide extensive handsonexperience on installing, configuring and maintaining a cluster of Linux storage servers. Also, the course enables the student to audit existing machines and implement security policy requirements on Linux systems.
Pre-requisites
Candidates should have an advanced knowledge of Linux System Administration. The
course is designed for Linux Storage or System Administrators who are interested in
maintaining large storage clusters.
